About Hack Bloc
We gather to learn from each other and focus our skills towards creative productive goals to defend vulnerability research, code auditing, organizing for national conventions and protests, and much more. We work together to build unity in the hacktivist movement, to explore and research positive hacktivism to help defend a free internet and a free society!
Points of Unity!!
* Anybody is free to start or participate in a local Hackbloc cell, which makes it's own rules and decisions autonomous from the international group. There are no leaders: everybody can have a role in the decision making process and help organize.<br>
* We encourage hackbloc cells to act responsible, practice good security culture, and consider how actions can bring negative energy down on the group and the hacking movement as a whole. The international Hackbloc organization does not orchestrate or sponsor illegal activities.
* We will strive to keep the internet free and for the people. Protecting the freedom and neutrality and indipendance of the internet by any means neccessary.
Organizational Structure
*Each individual local Hackbloc is completly autonomous and makes its own decisions regarding meetingtimes, agenda, location.
*In circumstances where input is needed from a wide array of groups, e.g campaigns, member statistics, promotion etc, the Hackbloc cell representing each country should collect the data.
*The Hackbloc cells representing each country should be made up of all the organisers taking part on a local level, in addition any member of a local Hackbloc may also contribute in meetings for the country cells.
*Where it is necessary for meetings to take place between International Hackbloc cells, each country Hackbloc should have atleast one member in attendance, who is able to pass all the relavent infomation back to the national Hackbloc and then down to the Local Hackblocs, preferably a number of members from each country should attend.
*Meetings between Local, National and International Hackbloc cells should be open and members should be free to participate.
